Business Development Manager - The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving new business revenue sales in the retail, real estate, automotive and sporting events/festivals sector. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to closing the sale.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will assume responsibility for growth and be expected to critically assess your own performance. You will shape your own destiny as part of the company by having an entrepreneurial attitude with the drive to progress within the company. You will be dealing with decision-makers, therefore you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a tenacious, adaptable attitude to build solid professional relationships.
Business Development Manager - The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have desire, ambition and will not be phased by new challenges. We are looking for a proven Business development manager who can demonstratesuccess in this key area of sales. Core skills and background include:
-Pro active individual with a self-starting attitude
- Circa 2-5 years of sales experience
- Experience of selling in to the retail, automotive, sporting venues or real estate industries
- A consultative approach to generating new business
- Able to own/develop relationships and grow your network
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management
- A positive and optimistic personality with the desire to succeed
- Competitive and passionate
