For the 4th consecutive year some of our team spent New Years Eve in London as we supplied several Trotters for the NYE Fireworks.
Always a great gig where our temporary signs are being used to manage the immense crowds that turn out to this fantastic event. It’s a night where we will ahve two staff members present throughout the event, who spent the night away from family and friends, but with best seats in the house to watch the fireworks!
There is a lot of preparation involved with this event as signs are being placed in the public space and there will be a lot of people around throughout the time of installation. London is never a quiet place anyway;)

Our experienced staff will do several site surveys beforehand and we will know exactly where to place the Trotters. Installation per Trotter takes about 20 minutes; from the time the Haib arrives to the final task of levelling the sign, to ensure maximum stability.
A super quick procedure, where the lifting of the sign into place will be completely “handling-free”, as the Hiab crane will have a magnetic hook to latch onto the Trotter and deposit it without handling until it touches the designated dropoff spot.
Once all Trotters are in position, we double check with the organiser if all is as discussed, to sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

After the show is finished, thev sun comes up and the crowd has left, we pick up all the Trotters and make our way to our HQ.
Once back at the yard, all Trotters will be inspected and all prints will be removed and recycled to minimize any ecological footprint.
Onto the next project, as some Trotters have been used for over a dozen events and can be used for years to come.
That’s what you call sustainable signage!
