Sustainability has always been high on our agenda here at Trotter, but recently we managed to improve in an area we didn’t think was possible!
To give you some insight into the design of the Trotter, here are a few key facts:
- The Trotter is made from 99% recyclable materials
- We can transport up to 10 Trotters on one HIAB, reducing installation time and allowing each unit to be deployed within 15 minutes, with only one staff member required
- Trotter billboards have a technical lifespan of well over 10 years
- Damaged parts from the largest Trotter can be reused on smaller model

But we’ve now taken our recycling process a step further!
Our green sustainability tags, which we attach to our Trotters, have always been made from recycled plastic — a great start in itself.
Now, however, we’ve partnered with a specialist waste processing company in the Netherlands that collects our used PVC billboard prints and converts them into our own green sustainability tags.
So whenever you see a green tag on a Trotter, keep in mind: it used to be one of our billboard prints.
