How Our Transport Partners Keep Summer Events Moving
Summer is one of the busiest times of year for events across the UK. From the London Marathon to F1 British Grand Prix, or one off events like the Arsenal Victory Parade in London, there’s always something happening — and behind the scenes, our transport partners play a huge part in helping us keep things moving.
At Trotter UK Mobile Billboards, we’re lucky to work with a fantastic network of transport partners who help us get the projects done throughout the summer. Their vehicles and drivers allow us to bring our temporary signage directly to the heart of busy events, reaching audiences right where it’s needed most.
From festivals to sporting events
Summer events come in all shapes and sizes, which means no two projects are quite the same. Sometimes you can build up on a Friday and derig fairly comfortable on a Monday, once the event is done, and more importantly, the crowds are gone.
But in other instances, like with the Arsenal Victory Parade, the roads will be closed for a set amount of time and you will have to deploy the billboards at a specific time on the day of the event. This is why our transport partners are crucial. They also need to be flexible with what the project entails, and drivers must be experienced to handle the billboards, which weigh 2000kg a unit.
Luckily we have some amazing installation partners to work with, some nationwide operating haulage companies, but we also work with smaller firms with just one or two vehicles. Every job needs requires a specific approach. Their local knowledge, experience and flexibility help us deliver campaigns efficiently and keep our clients happy!
